Discover the natural beauty of the Duxbury Town Forest on Saturday, July 20, from 10 to 11 a.m. with Sherry Winnie of the Duxbury Land Trust and Rebecca Roy, education coordinator for the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation Conservation.

Meet at 10 a.m. at Crossett Brook Middle School on Route 100 in South Duxbury. The event is free and open to all. Dress appropriately and take precautions for walking in wooded and brushy areas. Bring water and a snack.

The 169-acre Duxbury Town Forest was established in 2017 to provide forestry, natural resource conservation and non-commercial recreation. The Duxbury Land Trust holds a conservation easement on the property. Information: Audrey Quackenbush, or 244-7512.
