The Waterbury History Museum at 28 North Main St., will be open Saturday, Aug. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tours of the building.

Take a trip through 250-plus years of Waterbury history in the home of Civil War surgeon Dr. Henry Janes. The museum has a very interesting and diverse collection and will be staffed by knowledgeable docents.

The building is handicap accessible and also open to the public Monday – Friday. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
