Kelley Hackett of Waterbury Center has been accepted in this year’s Early Childhood Leadership Institute, sponsored by the Snelling Center for Government.
Hackett is the owner and preschool teacher of a family child care program in Waterbury Center. Hackett joins 25 other leaders from early childhood and family serving organizations across the state in an intensive program. It began last month and involves 12 seminar days between now and October. The institute gets funding from Vermont’s state government.
Topics include systems thinking, policy work, data and decision-making frameworks, and habits of curiosity, inquiry and reflection.
This is the fifth class of the Early Childhood Leadership Institute, with more than 125 graduates making a difference in Vermont.
