What is Citizen Science? In a nutshell, it is science we can do together, says the Waterbury Public Library.

The Waterbury Public Library will host a workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Technology Librarian Delia Gillen will give an overview on Citizen Science current projects and how to get involved.

Perhaps you’re interested in protecting the world’s resources, or have a passion for ameliorating climate change. A scientific background is not necessary; all you need is access to a smartphone, computer, or camera.

Call 244-7036 to sign up or email Delia at delia@waterburypubliclibrary.com.
