Vermont’s tourism leaders are coming to Waterbury.

The Travel Recreation Council, the state’s tourism oversight committee, will meet in partnership with Revitalizing Waterbury on Thursday, July 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Reservoir Restaurant and Tap Room at 1 S. Main St.

The agenda includes updates on economic development and travel and recreation policy, and as presentation by Revitalizing Waterbury on Main Street reconstruction and the business climate.

The meeting will be interactive and tourism leaders from all over the state typically attend. Revitalizing Waterbury is encouraging local businesses to make a showing at the meeting.

A light breakfast will be provided, courtesy of downtown businesses. RSVP by July 15 to Jerri Lamson, the council’s assistant: jerri.lamson@vermont.gov.
