May 21 at 6:30 p.m., police charged Joshua McLean, 30, of Belvidere with excessive speed and negligent driving. Police said they clocked McLean going 103 mph on Route 109 in Belvidere.

May 21 at 10:25 p.m., after a traffic stop on Route 15 in Johnson for speeding, police charged Richard M. Spitzer, 25, of Hyde Park with driving after criminal license suspension.

May 23 at 8:15 a.m., police charged Kyle Allaire, 28, of Jeffersonville with careless or negligent driving. Police allege Allaire drove north at a high speed in the southbound lane of Route 104 in Fairfax, near Wagner Road, forcing a southbound police officer to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

May 24 at 7:16 p.m., Christine Hallquist, 63, of Hyde Park reported her wallet stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of a Main Street residence in Derby Line. The wallet is 4 by 6 inches in size, made of brown leather and has a gold zipper. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Trooper Paul Pennoyer at 334-8881.

May 24 at 11:33 p.m., police charged Jeffrey Atherton, 43, of Westford with driving under the influence, second offense. He was stopped at Lower Pleasant Valley and Williamson roads in Cambridge because his taillights were out.

May 25 at 12:08 a.m., immediate history repeated itself when police charged Gregory Martin, 49, of Cambridge with driving under the influence, second offense. He was stopped at Lower Pleasant Valley and Williamson roads in Cambridge for a motor vehicle violation.
