Barre’s Thunder Road has passed the midpoint of its stock-car racing season, marked by the Country Camper Midseason Championships July 25.

Winners on Thursday night.

• Kyle Pembroke of Montpelier in the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models.

• Jason Woodard of Waterbury Center in the Lenny’s Shoe and Apparel Flying Tigers.

• Gary Mullen of Tunbridge in the Allen Lumber Street Stocks.

• Brian Putney of East Corinth in the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors.

The midseason championship races are double points contests, so drivers can climb up the season standings with strong showings.

Drivers will be back at the track tonight, Aug. 1, for the WDEV Radio/Calkins Portable Toilets Night, with racing in all four divisions, plus the Port-A-Potty Grand Prix.

Here’s a look at the top five racers in each division at the midseason championships, plus how some other local racers fared. Drivers are listed by finish, name, number and hometown. For full results and season standings: thunderroadvt.com.
