Wisewater plays at Bee's Knees

Wisewater, a Tennessee-based contemporary folk trio, will perform Wednesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. at The Bee’s Knees, 82 Lower Main St., Morrisville, and on Tuesday, April 28, at 9 p.m. at Radio Bean, 8 N. Winooski Ave., Burlington.

Band members are Kate Lee on vocals and fiddle, Forrest O’Connor on vocals and mandolin and Jim Shirey on guitar.

Wisewater has appeared several times this year at the Grand Ole Opry and has performed with Emmylou Harris, Mary Gauthier and Ricky Skaggs. Forrest, son of legendary fiddler Mark O’Connor, is the Tennessee state mandolin champion. Kate Lee has performed on CMA Shows for several years and backed up artists such as Rod Stewart, Lady Antebellum and Sara Evans. Information: wisewatermusic.com.
