A local man allegedly had marijuana in his vehicle while parked at the park and ride in Waterbury. Claude Randolph IV, 19, of Waterbury, faces a charge of possession of marijuana.

Vermont State Police said they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the park and ride on April 27 at 6:15 p.m. While speaking to the driver, who they identified as Randolph, police detected an odor of marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed that Randolph had marijuana in his possession, according to police.

Randolph was issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court on May 30 to answer to the charge.
