There’s a chill in the air, flannels and sweaters are coming back into closet rotation and warm apple cider is subbing in for summer’s lemonade.
Autumn is fast approaching, and readers are invited to capture the fall colors for the Stowe Reporter’s 11th annual foliage photo contest.
Send us your finest shots for consideration, and we’ll print the best in our Nov. 9 issue.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three photos (rated by the Stowe Reporter):
- First place: 2-night stay for two at Field Guide
- Second place: $150 gift certificate to Picnic Social
- Third place: $75 gift certificate to Picnic Social
Contest rules
- Contest deadline (EXTENDED): Noon on Friday, Oct. 27.
- Limit of three images per contestant.
- Only photos taken in Vermont will be considered.
- All photos must be high resolution jpegs, RGB, optimum size 5x7 at 300 dpi.
- Each jpeg must be labeled with contestant’s name, title and location of photo. Eg. jane smith_colorful leaves_stowe.jpg
- Contestants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Send submissions to foliage@stowereporter.com with the subject line “2017 fall foliage contest.” Include your full name, email address and phone number.
