To celebrate Vermont contributions to the sport and culture of Nordic skiing, the Vermont Ski and Snowboard museum is featuring artifacts and anecdotes for an Olympic-year display. Highlighting the past, present and future of Vermont Nordic skiing, the exhibit celebrates all aspects of the sport, from classic and skate skiing and Nordic combined to biathlon, ski jumping, telemark and backcountry skiing.

The displays include:

• Vermont Olympians & U.S. Ski Team members

• Vermont’s Lost Cross Country Ski Areas

• Vermont Nordic Equipment and Clothing

• Vermont Nordic Ski Clubs and Youth Ski Leagues

• Vermont Collegiate, Private Academy and High School Nordic Programs

• Vermont Contributions to Nordic Ski Industry Associations

• Vermont as a Nordic Skiing Destination

The exhibit is a who’s-who of Vermont Olympic team members, ski media and ski industry professionals. One of Vermont’s Olympians is Wendell Cram, profiled here.
