Green Mountain Tech student wins second FBLA award

John Griffiths

Computer technology work runs in John Griffiths’ family. His dad “built” smartphones before retiring, and his mom runs her own programming business. His sister is studying to be a software developer at Vermont State University-Randolph. So, it’s just natural that he would join the family business, wide-ranging as it is.

A second-year co-op student in the Computer Networking Technology program at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center, Griffiths recently took first place in the Help Desk category at the 2024 Future Business Leaders of America competition. That, too, is no surprise since he is just finishing his co-op assignment as a help desk technician for Lamoille North Supervisory Union.
