Two new board members were elected by Stowe Land Trust members at the 32nd annual meeting Sept. 22 at the Bryant Barn on West Hill in Stowe.
Jason McLean and Kerry Sedutto joined the 20-member board.
Roger Witten, who was on the board from 2009 to 2018, is now a director emeritus.
The board sets policy for the community conservation organization.
Sedutto, a Stowe native, has been an outdoor enthusiast since childhood; she hikes, bikes, golfs, skis and is a whitewater kayaker. She has been at the helm of The Sugarman of Vermont for over a decade and is on the board of the Vermont Maple Sugarmakers Association and the advisory board for Community National Bank in Vermont. She was also volunteer coordinator for the Stowe Schools’ Friday Ski Program for 10 years.
McLean moved to Stowe in 2008 from Boston, where he worked in finance for John Hancock. Now, he’s director of finance for the Mount Mansfield Ski Club & Academy. He and wife Liz and their two daughters, who live in Morrisville, enjoy hiking, biking and skiing. McLean is a member of the Mount Mansfield Ski Patrol and Stowe Emergency Medical Services and is treasurer of the Stowe Rescue Squad.
Stowe Land Trust strives to conserve scenic, recreational, and productive farm and forest lands for the community’s benefit. Information: stowelandtrust.org.
