Mildred “Millie” B. Merriam, 69, of Morrisville died peacefully at home Friday, Aug. 16, 2019.
She was born Aug. 19, 1949 in Newport, Vt., the daughter of Merle and Josephine Horner Bowen. She married Albert “Bert” Merriam on May 10, 1968 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Montpelier.
Millie was a graduate of Peoples Academy. She had been employed at Price Chopper for a number of years.
She is survived by her husband, Bert Merriam; children David and Traci Horner, Dorian and Dawn Leavitt-Merriam, Dan and Angela Matis, and Scott and Jessica Caldwell; grandchildren Eric, Coty, Christopher, Melvin, Ryan, Felicia, Timothy, Zachary, Scott, Mayah, Sabastian, Slaydyn and Gavin.
No public services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Millie’s memory may be made to the Jane Calmes ALS Scholarship Fund (bit.ly/janecalmesALS).
Faith Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at faithfh.net.
