Stephen Gothard of Belvidere Center is the new executive and gallery assistant at the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville.
Gothard will staff the gallery throughout the summer and assist the executive director in administrative and public relations activities throughout the year.
Gothard is originally from California and lived throughout the U.S. before recently settling in Vermont.
Gothard attended State University of New York-Purchase College, where he earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art history. Gothard has worked in sales and marketing in the health, media and furnishing design industries. He co-taught at New York University while in college served on the board of the Arts Council of the Adirondacks from 2008 to 2010.
He enjoys hiking, cycling, running and swimming and has completed the grueling Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon.
