To the Editor:
I am writing in support of the candidacy of Lucy Rogers, who is running for the Vermont House as a representative from Cambridge and Waterville.
Lucy is a young woman who represents the best qualities of our younger generation. Over the 20-plus years that I worked at Lamoille Union High School and Middle School, I saw many of our community children grow and mature through the years, developing into responsible, caring and committed adults of whom we can be proud. Lucy is one of those individuals.
Lucy is creative. She sees a problem and then does her research, seeking out answers and solutions. Lucy is dedicated. She is not afraid to question institutional practices that are no longer working to our benefit. She will work with others to meet the challenges that we face.
Lucy’s positive energy is what we need. She has a zest for life and a deep love for Vermont. She is looking for progress that insures the values that are at the core of Vermont. Please join me in voting for Lucy Rogers.
